Some slightly disappointing news here, but nothing that we Dears can’t deal with. On TV Asahi’s website under the Music Statio section, it was announced that BUNRAKU will be released sometime in 2010. Although we were all hopeful for a summer 2009 release, you have to take into account that the movie is going to be a bit like Sin City, therefore it will have a lot of comupter graphics in it. So it’s going to take a little while longer for the film to become 100% presentable for all movie-goers.

Yeah I know, I was really looking forward to the film this summer >.<
But we Dears have learned to be patient, so I think we can handle it~

haiz… same for me too… I’m so dis-heartened after hearing this… Anyway, I saw on the bunraku blog that this movie is not exactly a hollywood flim but a idependent flim etc… *confused*
But I’m guessing, is that the reason why they ae taking their own sweet time for the post-production thingy???
URGH!!!

I pretty much figured this would happen. T_T It explains the absolute lack of information about the movie, when we should at least have a trailer by now. *sigh*
Oh well! We’ll see it eventually. At least they’ve said something about it finally, rather than just leaving us to wonder. We’ll just have to keep ourselves entertained with the singles this summer. ^^

Well since it’s an independent film it might be a little harder to get a specific date for a release. Not that they won’t get a release or anything, just that films done by more famous directors or whatever have more of a priority on the list than independent films do you know? Did that make sense..? xD;
And yeah, that’s probably why it’s been in such a long post-production state.
But it’s not so bad about the pushback date. More time to make it even more perfect =D;

Ooh, yes!! The beautiful photoshoots! ^_^
Also, the longer we wait the better it will seem to us, since we’ve built it up in our minds so much. ^^ Although how could it be bad?? Gackt and Josh Hartnett beating each other up. It doesn’t get much better than that. XD I mean, besides Gackt and Hyde running around shooting people. Let’s not forget what we already have. ^^
Is it kind of sad that Gackt was so excited about his “Hollywood movie” and how one of his dreams was to be in a “Hollywood movie”…and now we discover it’s not Hollywood at all? Do you think anyone…told him? XD

I think it is already an amazing thing to flim a movie like this… At least Gackt is co-star with someones we all know and not some tom, dick or henry…
Is it consider ‘Hollywood’? I’m not like 100% sure bout it… Maybe to a certain extend??? Or people just have the confusion… ‘as long as it’s with the americians, it’s hollywood’????
Beautiful shoots.. HELL YES!!! But but but…. maybe just me again…. I dun really like his eyebrows.. But I like him!!! eh? Sorry, I think my language is really lousy….

Ah yes, we must never forget the glory that is Moon Child <3
Well I think it's still a Hollywood movie, just that it's not done by an outrageously famous director. Least I hope so anyway… No one tell Gackt just in case, the world might explode or somethign xDD

Yes, hopefully this movie will help him get more or a start a global domination *crosses fingers*
I’m not really sure, that’s a good point .__.;…

I’m not sure bout that.. But movies like sin city dun work well in box offices for Asia… We rather authenic Jap movies… But I do hope that the movie will sell well and reach to more people… *pray*
I do understand why he acted each time… But… Moonchild is too unique for the mass public… Furin Kazan is too historical to stir up anything among the youngs… Mr. Brain is nice… But he is only a guest actor… Ops… Am I asking for the sky???
Anyway… As a fan… we will still support him… Acting is a bonus for us.. I can survive well enough with just his songs… hahaz…

Yeah I see your point.. still, in all of those movies he wasn’t actign besides famous Hollywood actors, so who knows how that will play into all of this ne?
But I’m with you too, his songs I can live off of just dandy <3
