Hello and welcome all!!!

It seems that you have stumbled upon my lovely little blog here. Some of you may be asking “What the heck is this?” or “Not ANOTHER damn fansite *mumble mumble*” or maybe even “Oh wow this site looks interesting! What is there to see here?” <– (yeah right xD;)

Well, this is Camui Love: my little fansite that is dedicated to my most favorite Japanese music artist, Gackt Camui. I first began this website as another way of expressing the love that I have for this man. Because when it comes to Gackt, it just isn’t enough listening to his music and watching him perform or talk; a need arises to talk about him, to find the latest information on him, to understand what goes on in this genius’ head, and to just know everything about him! And it really isn’t much fun if you can’t express those feelings of admiration and adoration with fellow Dears (a.k.a. fans) ne? So, this site is here to help spread the love for Gackt around, for both new and old Dears. From his biography to his discography, past and future projects, concerts and random facts – you can find everything you need to know about this incredibly talented individual.

Here is a brief summary of what you can find on this site:

Biography – A summary of Gackt’s life up until now, written by yours truly~

Discography – A list of all the singles, albums, concert DVDs, Platinum Boxes, and other media that Gackt has created throughout his solo career. This section is updated as fast as possible, which gives you an up to date list of his current projects.

GacktJOB – The men who make up Gackt’s support band and part of his precious family, both former and current members.

Fackts – A list of random facts about Gackt, from things like pets and food to training and relationships.

FAQ – This section is for the most common questions about Gackt, like his age, real name, why he has not performed overseas yet, etc. and my personal answers to them. If you have any questions about Gackt in general you can leave a comment there and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

More Camui Love? – This section isn’t really important, at least I don’t think so anyway xD; My LJ is for my random blog posts about my life. I used to post updates that I made on this site over there, but that became too much work for me so I stopped doing it xD; I suppose if you’re actually curious about my life when it doesn’t involve Gackt (does such a parallel universe exist?! xD; *lame*) you could check it out from time to time.

Dramas/Movies – This category is dedicated to all movies and dramas that Gackt will be lending his talents to. This currently includes all infromation regarding Gackt in the upcoming 2010 film BUNRAKU and the August 2009 Kamen Rider Decade movie.

Featured – The posts located here are detailed with information about links and pages found on this site. If you ever have a question as to what kind of site a link leads you to, or what is featured in the site, or what a page on this site is for, you can find the answers in this category~

GacktJOB – These posts are all about GacktJOB~!! It mostly revolves around each of the member’s respected sites and blogs.

Lyrics/Translations – Here you can find the posts that link to lyrics to Gackt’s songs. Right now it’s mostly the lyrics to his newer songs, but once in a while I’ll post something about a site that contains a whole Gackt lyric index for you to check out. Also found here are links to translations to Gackt’s interviews, songs, and whatever else I may find.

Magazines/Scans – The posts about new magazines featuring Gackt go here, as well as magazine previews. Any translated articles that come from magazines are found here as well (not the Translations section, sorry if that’s confusing n.n; ). Links to scans can also be found here.

Miscellaneous – Anything not Gackt-related goes here (which is quite rare). I do, however, place the site updates here so you can keep up with any new changes on the site.

Media – All posts pertaining to media can be found here. This includes new singles/albums, music videos, performances, interviews, dramas, etc. that involve Gackt. TV and radio updates are also placed here. If a video is not working properly, please tell me so I can go and correct this for you (but also understand that due to the whole deleting thing with Gordie Entertainment and YouTube and other video sites, this may be a constant thing x.x; ).

Reviews – My personal reviews on CDs, DVDs, magazines, etc. can be found here.

One thing you should note about this site is that all of the translated articles and information you find here were not translated by moi. I have only taken a year of Japanese, so I can only translate choice words and phrases (clearly not enough to tell you what is going on in Gackt-land). So, I post links to all the translations and information I find instead. I do this because: 1. The translators who have taken the time to translate do an amazing job, and I believe that they deserve some recognition within the Gackt fandom. 2. I like to share information I find about Gackt with other Dears. 3. Posting the links where I find information ensures you, dear reader, that what I tell you is accurate and that I am not trying to BS something for the hell of it.

Please understand that if there is any problem with posting the links to any of the translations found here, I will take them down out of respect for the translators.

Also, this website is managed by me and me alone. I don’t have some super-duper team behind my back or anything, so please don’t feed me to the sharks if I am slow on updating stuff xD;

Oh and don’t be afraid to comment on a post or share your thoughts of what you thought about an article or a song, etc. I respond as quickly as I can to all comments and this also makes for great conversation and fun between all of us Gackt fans n.n
