GACKT – Kenshin Kousai Press Con 2010.08.21

And here are some pics of GACKT in Niigata, as well as extra info about the horse GACKT will ride and a mosaic of GACKT as Kenshin made by students of Kasuga Intermediate School… out of stickers!

Thanks to dyan25 and excused_early at the Oh GACKT You Didn’t! Community~!
GACKT in Niigata
More Kenshin Tidbits

  1. Honestly, I need to quit being lazy and watch Uesugi Kenshin. >.< He looks cool riding a horse haha. 🙂

  2. He took out the braids!

  3. One of the greatest, if not greatest, projects he’s taken on was to star in Fuurin Kazan. Now he seems busier than he’s ever been and he receives more respect by the media and people, in general, it seems to me. Besides, I found out about “you know who” because of the samurai drama, so I’m so grateful that he agreed to play Nagao Kagetora (Uesugi Kenshin).

  4. Can someone tell me about the breed of horse he is riding and if it is an actual Akhal Teke? Does he import it or something?

Does he speak about his riding experience?

    • Jaci: Welcome to Camui Love~!
Umm I don’t remember where I read it but I do believe that is an Akhal Teke. I could be wrong but the name sounds very familiar at least. In Japan there are a couple of ranches for horses and they probably import them from different countries. I know that horse is the same one he rode on for Furin Kazan as well as the festival the previous years he participated, and it’s also probably the horse he rode for PBVII.

I have no idea what he says sadly, but I think it might be about him participating in the festival and what he wants people to feel or something.
Hope that helped a bit =x
