I apologize for the long delay, but here’s the next chapter of the GACKTIONARY~

If you think you’re having a hard time, but are still able to laugh, that means you can still keep going.

This applies to everything, including work, club activities, studies, etc. People often say, “This is so hard”, don’t they? Exactly. There’s nothing that’s effortless in this world. So many people want to escape, or try to escape, from these actions that they think are hard. But I think that, as long as one can still utter those words, there’s still enough energy left in him to keep going.
I would argue, “But you still have the energy to complain!” It means he still at least has the energy to think about escaping. When a person really can’t go any further, he would just escape without even realizing it.
Human beings are programmed well in that regard. If something’s truly dangerous, you’ll just run away instinctively. You wouldn’t even think to complain.
In other words, if you catch yourself complaining about work or whatever you’re tackling at the moment, that means you can still keep going! You need to really understand this, because it’d be such a waste if you didn’t Whining and complaining are like the auxiliary tank of a car, or the gas light that just came on. It means you can still keep going a decent distance.
The moment the car really can’t go any further is not immediately after the gas light comes on. After the light comes on, you can still keep going for a while. You’ve been in that situation before, haven’t you?
You can still keep going, too, although you’ll come to an abrupt stop eventually.
