Comparing the band’s overall chemistry and sound from Berlin to Makuhari, they have come a LONG way and sound and look even more like a cohesive unit than when they first started out. Congrats boyz, you’re doing such an amazing job!

The boys talk a little bit about eye contact during the interview section before it moves onto Vanilla. Also, it seems that some of the fanservice between GACKT and Jon was cut out for the broadcast… too hot for audiences I guess ;P

And for those curious, yes – that is indeed a REAL tattoo on the back of GACKT’s neck. He’s mentioned it a few times on Twitter, but he got it to commemorate the tsunami and earthquakes on March 11th and what he must do from now on.
The tattoo seems to be a combination of the sun, moon, and other motifs, but it’s still not very clear at the moment.
GACKT also said he might blog about it someday, but we’re still waiting on that ^^;;…

GACKT appeared at the BUNRAKU Screening at Marunochi Picadilly. He previously attended a screening in Sendai on Christmas, as a little present to those in the area afflicted by the tsunami on March 11th (I’ll post about this sometime later ^^; ).

There are 3 teams in this New Year’s special: the first is Team Nadeshiko, Japan’s women’s national football team (who won the gold medal at last year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Final), Team Arashi (which consists of 4 members of Arashi and 3 celebrity guests throughout the show), and Team Lucky Seven (the cast of the Lucky Seven drama, which Matsumoto Jun is a part of and hence not on Team Arashi).
Strangely enough, this is one of the only shows where GACKT and his team have not won at the end of the show. Will this be GACKT’s year?!
