* According to the O2 website, the opening time has changed from 7:00pm to 6:30pm.
Those going to this venue should have received a notification by email, but just in case it has not reached you yet this is what the email says:
“This is an important email from TicketWeb regarding your booking for GACKT at O2 Academy Islington on 16 July 2010. The venue has informed us that the door time has now changed from 19:00 to 18:30. Your tickets remain valid and all other details are unaffected”
* The gig has also now been changed from just GACKT to GACKT – ATTACK OF THE “YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz”
* A no camera disclaimer has been added to the event details. Also for those who were planning on camping outside the venue on the previous night, there’s a disclaimer for that too:
“Please refrain from queuing in the N1 Centre the days leading up to the show. The N1 Centre is private property and anyone queuing will be moved on”
July 18th: Alhambra, Paris

There’s some news regarding more tickets for the Paris date! Here’s what the venue site says:
“GACKT Announce a Huge success in PARIS
We want to thanks all of you for your incredible support, we know you’ve been waiting this moment for a very long time, so to thank you one last time, we have decided along with the venue due to productional reason we are able to put the last few tickets on sale at regular price.
These last tickets will be on sales exclusively via ALHAMBRA PARIS website, and will be on sales from Thursday 8th 2010 from 10.00 am CET.”
July 24th: Bochum
This event will be recorded and broadcasted live on Nico Nico!!

Puffy: Well after reading a lot of the concert reports, it doesn’t sound like you’d have much arm room to even take a picture – you’re gonna be too focused on trying to maintain your balance in a mosh pit 8D;;;
This is just my personal opinion, but after going to 6-ish JRock concerts, I can tell you that taking photos/videos isn’t really worth it. I’m not even talking about the illegal parts of it though – half the time you end up watching the concert from the tiny ass camera screen and the other half you’re trying to stand still enough to take a decent picture and sometimes the flash goes off unexpectedly and then you end up blinding the artist/band, which is really embarrassing. I dunno, I find now that using a camera during a live defeats the purpose of it being live. I mean, the artist/band is right in front of you – might as well enjoy the moments that they’re right there you know? Besides, it becomes a hassle to drag that square thing around with you all the time lol

I really don’t think they’d take a camera from you if you brought one, chances are they wouldn’t even know you had it. xD But then again, if a mosh pit would break out you probably wouldn’t wanna risk getting your camera crushed… >.>

Victoria: Well that depends on if they see the camera in your bag or not lol. If they do, they may ask that you put your camera like in your car or a locker of some kind, or just make you promise not to use it or take the battery/memory stick out. I’ve never actually heard of someone’s camera being confiscated so I guess it’s boils down to what you’re willing to risk.
It’s usually the venue that has a no picture policy but the artist themselves could ask for no photography as well. At Miyavi’s live in June he requested no pictures, and I obeyed cause I respect the man~ It was a great choice though, because when you’re jumping around and stuff you really don’t want to hang onto that thing. It gets tiring to hold and you could smack yourself or someone else with it n____n;; And I could spend more time oogling at him than figuring out if my picture was clear, eheh~

If you get caught at Japanese concerts, I’ve heard of cases where they confiscate and/or wipe your memory card. And you can get thrown out of the show and even the fanclub if you’re a member.
At any case, I think it’s disrespectful to the artist and people around you to be trying to take photos and video at a no photo concert. There’s a video on youtube of an Australian band I know playing, and literally every single person in the audience is looking at a little cell phone or camera screen rather than the actual live artist in front of them -_-;; If I was performing, I’d start to feel like “…what’s the point?” Particularly when you look at youtube and most of the videos people take are TERRIBLE, they’re tiny, blurry and the sound is all distorted. Unless you have some kind of professional equipment and ninja stealth, you’re much better off trying to make some vivid memories of the event, IMHO.

does anyone know what time i would be able to buy the goods from the tour at for the London show??? i haven’t been to any live show before so it is kind of new to me 😛 can anyone help??? i am sooo excited i am already having trouble sleeping!!! 4 days now!!!!

Beth: Hmmm your show starts at 7 (or 19 if you go by 24-hour time) ne? I’m assuming they may start lining up the goods as soon at least by 1 (or 13) unless it’s like here in the U.S. For the concert venues I’ve been to here, they’ve usually started selling goods once they allow you to enter the venue, which is pretty stupid in my opinion because then you’re trying to buy as much as you can in a limited amount of time while also worrying that you may not get a good spot in the front (if you’re aiming for that). Some people just wait until the end of the show to buy their stuff, but I don’t know how long they leave the goods table open…
In short, I honestly have no idea XD;
But I do hope you get your hands on some good stuff =]
